Mr Bens was one of the bigger venues to hold comedy nights and in such a great location with an excellent following and well organised it has flourished and now holds very regular nights including its notorious Monday night Gong shows which new acts get to try out new material against the clock.
Mr Bens in Leeds due to its size and attendance manages to attract a very strong calibre of act with northern legend mc Des Sharples being know to run the show on occasion.
Mr Bens is also great value for money and is easily one of the cheapest comedy nights in the city. The Leeds comedy scene is on the up and up thanks to bars like Mr Bens.”Also participating in this Mr Bens event is The North East’s own Andy D Chambers, Founder of NE1 comedy, Compère & comedian in his own right.
Leeds are in for a pleasant surprise with these 2 rascals on the same line up.
